Professor Zbigniew Szawarski

Professor Zbigniew Szawarski – ethist and medicine philosopher, the head of the Research Council of the WHC Foundation; director of Bioethics Committee and Presidium of the Polish Academy of Science. Numerous articles and publications about medicine ethics. Member and former president of the European Society for Philosophy of Medicine and Health Care. In years 1990-99 the lecturer of the University of Wales Swansea in the United Kingdom. Retired professor of the Warsaw University, currently hired at the National Institute for Public Health (PZH). Member of the Transparency Council of the Health Technology Assessment Agency. Member of the Permanent Working Group Science and Ethics ALLEA (All European Academies).
