Professor Tomasz Trojanowski

Professor Tomasz Trojanowski, member of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences – neurosurgeon. He is a head of the Department and the Clinic of Neurosurgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery at the Medical University of Lublin. Former Vice-Rector and Dean of the Medical Faculty of the Academy of Medicine. He served as a representative for the reform of education at faculties of the Medical Universities in Poland. He is a member of the National Council of Transplantation. He was on internships in Italy, the UK, Sweden and France. He is a visiting professor at the Rush Medical College in Chicago. Honorary President of the Polish Society of Neurosurgeons, honorary member of the Polish Association of Surgeons, Vice President of WFNS and EANS. Member of the World Academy of Neurosurgery, the Eurasian Academy of Neurosurgical and the German Academy of Neurosurgeons. President of the UEMS Section of Neurosurgery and Treatment Specialties Group UEMS. Author of over 100 scientific papers. He is a winner of 1^st level prize of the Minister of Health, medal Gloria Medicinae and Commander of the Order of St. Sylvester.
